Hotel Forest Hill Meudon Velizy

I can barely contain my disappointment. My room was entered multiple times without knocking, and then there was the total lack of proper cleaning-disgusting! After all this, i expected at least an upgrade, perhaps a hint of appreciation for my stay, but no. I just could not believe the service, as if i was invisible.

For a business trip I needed to be in Velizy. I booked this hotel at a very cheap rate so didnt have high expectations but I enjoyed my stay. Normal 3 star hotel but the staff was excellent and very helpfull.

The hotel was wonderful and the location was marvellous and brilliant just next door to the restaurant 8 times for roomservice, also via the reception, Versailles and Orly airport, and bus stop. My superior room was elegant with a longer bed. A great selection of food for breakfast, it was brilliant...

My wife says that the breakfast could use more kid-friendly options.

Staff are friendly, and can speak English as well as French. Location is not convenient but there is several bus stops near the hotel so you can easily access to city center of Meudon, or station of Metro (Pont de Sevre). Price is not so reasonable but much better than the hotel in city center of Paris. Water pressure of shower is also good.

It is weird that Wifi connection is free of charge but internet connection through cable cost 17euro per day. Essentially, these should be the same.

This hotel need work to be updated

The beautiful double room was spacious with modern amenities. The staff provided excellent service and the swimming pool was a nice touch for relaxation.

Breakfast selection could be better. It's often quite basic.

The free internet access in the rooms is unusable. Internet on GSM ( not even 3G) works better. Room and bathroom give the impression that a refurbishment is overdue.

It was nicely furnished, new-fashioned and with a very short bed.

It is a modern hotel with a good breakfast offering fresh ingredients and a complimentary water bottle!

1-they provided free tranportation to near places with the Hotel Shuttles 2-there's a nice Dinner in the Ground level which can be helpful after a late night work

1-staff where not as professional as it should be we got some mixed feedback on some topics

Provided adequate accomodation for this trip.

Arrived late on first night and was not able to get any food from the bar (or restaurant which was closed). Staff were not able to suggest any options in the area.

Oh, the cheese rolls at breakfast were a delight! Perfectly fluffy and full of flavor, they set my day on the right track. Plus, I've got to give a shoutout to the free parking, a total lifesaver when hitting up Paris! And let's not forget Ibrahim, who was a gem in helping fix room issues. What a star!

Now, on the flip side, the Superior Room was more like a squeeze than a stay. The faulty lights and plugs made it a bit of a hassle, and some of the cleaners didn't seem keen on helping. Had to switch to a Beautiful to finally catch some Z's, definitely not worth the initial hype!

Rooms are far too small. We had an unpleasant experience in that we think something fairly valuable was stolen from our room but we cannot prove it of course. No lift to 6th floor.
